Kim Watson, Editor
Kim brings over 17 years of experience covering the cattle industry to her role as BEEF TODAY Editor and Online Livestock Editor. She plans to lead the editorial team to provide quality, informative content to both the print publication and electronic products. Over the years, her writing has received awards from the American Agricultural Editors Association, Livestock Publications Council and American Business Media. A Texas native, she received her bachelor of science degree in agricultural communications from Texas Tech University in Lubbock and now resides in San Antonio, Texas, with her husband and sons. Sara Brown, Livestock and Production Editor
Growing up on a Missouri diversified crop and livestock farm, Sara covers the livestock beat and copy edits articles for Farm Journal and BEEF TODAY magazines. A 2004 University of Missouri agricultural journalism graduate, Sara previously worked for The Cattleman’s Advocate, a regional beef publication in northeast Missouri. In college, she worked for the University of Missouri Ag Extension News Service and interned with the American Agricultural Editors Association and Osborn & Barr in St. Louis. Sara lives in Mexico, Mo., only 15 minutes from her hometown of Centralia, Mo. Steve Cornett, Editor Emeritus
Steve has been covering the beef industry since 1973, and has been writing for BEEF TODAY and Farm Journal Media since 1995. He works from his home office in Canyon, Texas, and an office at the Cornett “retirement ranch” on the Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River between Clarendon and Turkey, Texas. Steve served as editor of BEEF TODAY until July 2008, and continues to provide his unique insight on the beef industry through his BEEF TODAY blog as well as a regular column within the pages of BEEF TODAY. Sue Lee, National Accounts Manager
Armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Communications from the University of Illinois, Sue began her career by moving to New York City to accept her first agricultural publishing position. After several successful years as a regional sales manager for Farm Journal and Top Producer magazines, Sue joined the livestock division of Farm Journal Media in 2003 and relocated to a small town east of Kansas City. Sue, husband Bob (a retired New York City firefighter) and two daughters enjoy their new rural lifestyle. When not helping BEEF TODAY and Dairy Today customers plan advertising campaigns, Sue can usually be found at a 4-H meeting, digging new flower beds or tending to a multitude of pets. Lori Lulich, National Accounts Manager
Lori’s passion for the agricultural industry stems from her childhood, where she was raised and worked on her family’s dairy farm in northeastern Wisconsin. She has been employed by Farm Journal Media since 2003 and formerly worked as the director of communications for a livestock marketing cooperative. Lori holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural marketing from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She is a former state FFA officer and recipient of the American FFA degree. Ramona Rei, Advertising Sales
Ramona brought over 23 years of experience in administration, promotion, event coordination and list rental sales in the livestock publishing business to the Farm Journal sales team when she joined the staff in 2006. She has a B.A. in Business from Kansas State University. Ramona lives in suburban Kansas City. She has one grown son who is serving his third tour in Iraq.
