More Wet Expected in the East

It’s not good news for corn Eastern Corn Belt growers who are itching to get into the fields this spring. Allen Motew, meteorologist with QT Weather in Chicago, says a warm, dry period over an extended period is needed to dry soils enough for farmers to plant. Unfortunately, he doesn’t see it coming any time soon.
