GOOD MORNING I'M CLINTON GRIFFITHS. WHILE WASHINGTON BICKERS BACK AND FORTH, CATTLE PRICES ARE OPEN AND RUNNING...AND MARKET WATCHERS THINK THERE COULD BE RECORD HIGHS THIS WEEK.

GOLD ON CATTLE:

MARK SAYS WHILE PRICES ARE ON RECORD PACE, HE'S WITNESSED A FEW GAPS IN THE MARKET RECENTLY. HE'S CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC PRICES WILL HOLD THROUGH THE MONTH.

SOUTH DAKOTA UPDATE:

WE'LL HAVE MORE FROM MARK LATER IN THE SHOW...MEANWHILE....IN SOUTH DAKOTA CLEANUP FROM LAST WEEK'S FREAK SNOWSTORM CONTINUES, AS RANCHERS WORK TO GATHER THOUSANDS OF DEAD LIVESTOCK.

WE'VE BEEN HEARING REPORTS FROM ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY ABOUT YIELDS COMING IN BETTER THAN EXPECTED. NATIONAL REPORTER TYNE MORGAN CONTINUES HER TREK ACROSS INTERSTATE 80, TODAY STOPPING IN ILLINOIS, TO SEE IF THAT HOLDS TRUE IN THAT LARGE PRODUCTION STATE.
