GOOD MORNING I'M CLINTON GRIFFITHS. COULD THIS BE THE WEEK WORK MOVES FORWARD ON A NEW FIVE YEAR FARM BILL? LEADERS SAY ITS POSSIBLE

STAHLMAN FARM BILL:

FARM LOBBY, THE AMERICAN FARM BUREAU HAS BEGUN A TURN UP THE HEAT CAMPAIGN. ITS HOPING TO INCREASE THE PRESSURE ON CONGRESS TO FINISH THE FARM BILL. PRESIDENT, BOB STAHLMAN SAT DOWN WITH AGRITALK LAST WEEK AS WELL. HE AGREES AN EXTENSION IS NOT THE SOLUTION.

WRDA:

IN OTHER LEGISLATIVE NEWS, FUNDING FOR U-S WATERWAYS, INCLUDING LOCKS AND DAMS IS HEADED FOR THE FLOOR OF THE HOUSE. THE HOUSE TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE RELEASED ITS DRAFT OF THE WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT ACT LAST WEEK.
