Reynoldsburg, Ohio —The Jersey All-American and Reserve All-American winners of 2011 have been announced by the American Jersey Cattle Association.
The awards were presented Nov. 7, 2011, during the 59th All-American Jersey Show, viewed by a large ringside and broadcast worldwide on streaming internet video from Freedom Hall in Louisville, Ky. Imprinted certificates were presented to 26 owners or partnerships from 12 states.
Leading the list was the All-American Four-Year-Old Cow, Pine Haven SSM Marmie, the 2011 National Grand Champion for owners Nic, Jeni, Ben and Andy Sauder of Tremont, Ill. “Marmie” was named Supreme Champion of the North American International Livestock Exposition dairy show on Nov. 8. In October, she was selected Reserve Supreme Champion of World Dairy Expo.
Waverly Farm, of Clear Brook, Va., received six awards for three All American and three Reserve winners. Its string included the Winner of the National Jersey Jug Futurity, Miss Iatola Blackie Rose-ET. The Stiles Family was named Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor of the 59th All American Jersey Show.
Two exhibitors picked up four awards each. Craig and Emily Walton of Pleasant Plain, Ohio, along with Gene Iager, of Fulton, Md., and partners had three All-Americans and one Reserve winner. Among them were Frederick 2783 Adventure, the Reserve National Grand Champion for a third consecutive year, and Tower Vue Lil Kook, the Junior Champion of the show. Keightley-Core Jerseys of Salvisa, Ky., exhibited two All Americans and two Reserve winners, among them the Reserve Junior Champion of the show, KCJF Motions Comotion.
