According to the recent Farm Journal Pulse, more than half of farmers wish to improve marketing skills.

What is the biggest challenge you face with your farming operation? If marketing tops your list, you’re not alone.
Farm Journal Pulse
For this week’s Farm Journal Pulse, a text message poll of farmers and ranchers, we asked:
What's the biggest challenge for your farm operation?
Here are the results from more than 1,300 votes:
  • Marketing: 58%
  • People Skills: 15%
  • Applying New Technology: 13%
  • Input decisions: 14%

While marketing accounts for more than half of the results, technology, people skills and input decisions all seem to be equally challenging for farmers.
