Garlic Cheese Bread

Recipe submitted by Keith and Karen Schultz of Garfield, Minn.

Ingredients:

1/3 cup Parmesan cheese

1/4 tsp dried oregano leaves

3/4 tsp dried parsley leaves

2 Tbls soft butter

1 tsp vegetable oil

2 small cloves garlic

4 - 6 slices bread

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine Parmesan, oregano and parsley and set aside. In a small dish combine minced garlic, butter and oil. Spread over one side of bread. Place buttered side up on a cookie sheet. Top each slice with 1/4 cup mozzarella and then sprinkle with the Parmesan mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
