Heifer Mastitis Seminar At World Dairy Expo

September 10, 2012

Central Life Sciences is hosting a two-hour seminar on heifer mastitis at World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wis. on both October 4 and 5.

Heifer mastitis is a hidden but all too common disease, negatively impacting milk quality, production and udder health. In the worst cases, it can be fatal.

Steve Nickerson, professor of dairy science at the University of Georgia and a specialist in bovine mastitis, will present both seminars. The seminars run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days with lunch provided.

The October 4th seminar will be held in the Monona and Wingra Room in the Alliant Energy Center while the October 5th seminar will be held in Mendota Room 4.
