Polaris Industries granted $46,500 to five organizations through their T.R.A.I.L.S. (Trail Development, Responsible Riding, Access, Initiatives, Lobbying, Safety) program. Since its January 2006 launch, the T.R.A.I.L.S. grant program has granted $746,557 to 83 local, state and national ATV clubs.

Local organizations receiving the sixth round of grants are from New York, Minnesota and Vermont. A state organization in Colorado and a national organization in Ohio are also recipients.

Grant applications are reviewed in March and September with the submission deadlines of March 1 and September 1.

Funds are available for non-profit national, state and local organizations to promote safe and responsible riding and preserving access. Assistance can be used for trail development and maintenance projects, safety and education initiatives.
