In 2008, Farm Journal launched Corn College in response to farmers asking for more access to our agronomic experts. Since then, sold-out crowds totaling more than 2,000 farmers have headed to the field for hands-on training to ratchet up yields. In response to strong demand for more classes, we’ve added another session in the eastern Corn Belt. This lineup with help you decide which event is best for you.

First-time attendees

The Corn College "Fundamentals" event will take place Aug. 3 to 4 in Coldwater, Mich., at the facilities of Farm Journal Associate Field Agronomist Missy Bauer. This two-day event is geared toward the first-time Corn College attendee. With in-field breakouts including soil density pits and crop diagnostics, the Fundamentals course will feature the most popular trainings from the Corn College curriculum and provide the building blocks of the Systems Approach to corn production.
