Roger Proffitt:
Is there any coverage given to agricultural crime, especially livestock, metals, crop, and chemical theft such as anhydrous ammonia? There is some AG Crime that does get reported locally. Missouri does have a Cattle Theft Task Force working these issues.  For example for Missouri please look at line item for livestock for 2006:

Click on Business Alerts. Good objective program, enjoy watching it in the morning with my coffee.

Roger Shipp:
I have a question about high fructose corn syrup: with the excessive demand for corn for ethanol competing with the global demand for corn for food, while the US is fighting epidemic obesity, why not limit/restrict the use of corn syrup and, especially high fructose corn syrup, in processed food. This could solve two problems. I understand that corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup were regarded as a marketing answer to corn surpluses for corn producers. Comments? I do really enjoy your show. I grew up on a farm in Iowa and lived in South Bend/Mishawaka for 5 years in the 1970s. Your show is so insightful and covers interesting subjects and commentary with great talent.
