Viewer: The Evils of GMOs + Response

*Letter #1:
As a nutritionist I watch your show to see the trends and am dismayed when I realize you are just a patsy for the corporate seed  thieves. I could go on and on but they have no right to destroy what God has given the world so they can make millions, then cause starvation in the process. See the documentary film THE FUTURE OF FOOD. As an example, they had no right to destroy all the ancient wheat varieties in Iraq and give/SELL them back 4 of their choosing that those people don't even use! Another issue is that they are destroying our health n the process. I will spread the word as far and wide as I can against the corporations involved in GMO.

I don't see what the big deal is with BT crops. I think that anyway to help the farmer out by making it easier to grow and manage the crop is a good idea. There is nothing wrong with the grain -- it is still a normal crop. People just need to realize the true facts about BT crops and that there is nothing wrong with it.

Yeah, they're just like all those other companies that try to increase their stock prices so that our 401k's and retirements....I mean, those rich people get richer on the backs of the poor. Everyone knows only the ceo's of oil, pharmaceuticals, food, etc make money. Everyone else just does it for the good of the common man. The monsanto employees should join a union so that they can run them out of business like the auto workers did.
