DAN BURKE'S DAILY OPTION RUN 09/06/2013

GRAINS

MACRO OUTLOOK:  My daily outlook for grains is bearish.  Looking at the November Soybeans chart, I see the price action is settling the day nearby to the same price as it opened.  In my opinion, this hints to a lack of interest.  I suggest this is a pause before more downside.  As for the December Corn today, it moved sideways and seems to be interested in taking out this 464 level.  I would like to see December Corn make a move to the 446 level from here.  Lastly, we look at the December Wheat contract which has bounced nicely off the 636 level.  I expect the price of December wheat to move back to test this 636 level again and eventually move to 620.  Also, please keep in mind that even though my opinion favors a bearish outlook, I am ever so vigilant with my protective option strategies for the upside.  Feel free to give me a call anytime.  Keep in mind, commissions and fees are not included in the cost of the option.

In technical analysis, investors and analysts study charts of trading patterns and prices to forecast changes in a security, commodity, currency or index. Support refers to an area on a chart where buy orders may be clustered. Resistance is an area where there may be sell orders.  Fibonacci retracement is named after a 12th century Italian mathematician and based on the theory that prices rise or fall by predictable amounts after reaching a high or low.
