In January 2010, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers will host the first Ag Connect Expo, modeled after its construction industry shows.

To emphasize its commitment to the ag industry, AGCO introduced a new corporate marketing tag line: "Your Agriculture Company."

Ag Leader Technology more than doubled the size of its Ames, Iowa, facility by adding 96,000 sq. ft.

Case IH broke ground on a model equipment dealership near its Racine, Wis., factory.

John Deere acquired full ownership of ReGen Technologies, Inc., changed the name to John Deere Reman and is working to grow the remanufacturing company's global business from its Springfield, Mo., headquarters.

Krause Corporation sold its solid waste handling division K-Pac and rededicated manufacturing capacity entirely to tillage equipment.

Montana Tractors purchased Farmtrac North America and its assets.

New Holland hired Barry Engle as its new president and CEO.

Polaris announced Scott Wine as the company's new CEO.

To streamline its planter control components, Trimble acquired Tru Count, Inc., and its lineup of air and electric clutches, as well as Rawson Control Systems to further expand its flow and application control solutions.

Vermeer Corporation and Dutch-based Lely Group jointly purchased Welger, a baler and bale-wrapper manufacturer based in Germany.
