Applicator Stretches to New Widths
John Deere extends the 2510H Nutrient Applicator Series with a 23-row model. Built with a five-section flex-fold frame, the 2510H has a working width of 57½'. The machine can apply anhydrous ammonia at speeds up to 10 mph. A hydraulic down-pressure system maintains proper operating depth across the 23 openers in even and uneven terrain. The 2510H Series can be used for anhydrous application in the fall, for preplant applications and for sidedress applications soon after planting, and can triple the typical sidedress application window. This allows the operator more time and flexibility in the field. For transport, the machine folds as a seven-section unit and is only 18' wide and 13' tall.
