Second Generation OnTrac
Building on the OnTrac platform, AutoFarm introduces OnTrac2 with upgrades to improve its performance. Used in conjunction with the Ag Technology Center (ATC), OnTrac2 providesGPS-assisted, hands-free steering with a system that can be transferred from vehicle to vehicle.
With its lock-and-roll design, the mechanical drive unit locks onto the steering wheel. The high-torque, positive gear drive delivers powerful control while eliminating the wheel slip that can occur with friction motor steering systems. To ensure quieter operation, a precision electromechanical drive unit is employed.
An optional switch kit allows the OnTrac2 to clamp on and off the steering wheel for easy transfer between vehicles. Installing and reinstalling the system takes minutes and does not require any tools. A split-gear design eliminates the need to remove the steering wheel.
The OnTrac2 system works for straight A-B lines, contours, headlands and pivot circles. The GPS-assisted steering system provides WAAS or EGNOS level pass-to-pass accuracy, which can range from 6" to 12". OnTrac2 can be installed on two-wheel-drive tractors, front-wheel-drive tractors and four-wheel-drive tractors, as well as combines, sprayers, spreaders and swathers. A remoteengage switch with the system is optional.
List prices: OnTrac2, $3,695; ATC, $3,995. The system can be paired with a previously purchased ATC.

Updated Algorithms and Compatibility for GreenSeeker
GreenSeeker, from NTech Industries, releases a software update and an ISOBUS-compatible version of its RT200 optical sensing and variable-rate application system. Nitrogen fertilizer algorithms are improved for variable sidedressing of corn, wheat, sorghum, cotton and canola. The software communicates on-the-go application rates with John Deere application equipment and GreenStar 2 systems using the model 2600 display.
The new GreenSeeker RT200 system is compatible with ISOBUS display monitors, such as the AGCO GTA Console. For more information on the free-of-charge software updates, visit www.greenseeker.com.
