DIERKS SAYS IF TARIFFS ARE PUT INTO PLACE, TWO KEY TRADING PARTNERS COULD GO TO OTHER COUNTRIES TO SOURCE PORK PRODUCTS. FEED PRICES AND PORK DEMAND WERE ALSO HOT TOPICS DURING THIS YEAR'S WORLD PORK EXPO IN DES MOINES, IOWA. PROJECTIONS OF A GOOD CROP QUICKLY TRANSLATED INTO TALKS OF FOUR DOLLAR CORN THIS YEAR.  BUT AS AGDAY NATIONAL REPORTER TYNE MORGAN TELLS US, FEED CONCERNS ARE SURFACING ONCE AGAIN.

UPDATE:

WE HAVE AN UPDATE THIS MORNING ON A WATER RIGHTS BATTLE IN TEXAS. A DISTRICT COURT JUDGE RULED IN FAVOR OF THE TEXAS FARM BUREAU IN ITS LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST THE TEXAS COMMISSION ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY.
