MIDWEST SNOW:

GOOD MORNING I'M CLINTON GRIFFITHS. ANOTHER WINTER SNOWSTORM IS BLASTING THROUGH THE MIDWEST WITH ITS SIGHTS SET ON THE EASTERN SEABOARD.

CROP WATCH:

THE STORM IS MAKING TRAVEL DIFFICULT THROUGH A LARGE SWATH OF THE MIDWEST. HERE'S MIKE HOFFMAN WITH CROPWATCH.

WINTER WHEAT CONDITONS:

NOT THIS CURRENT WEATHER MAKER, BUT TWO PREVIOUS SNOWSTORMS BROUGHT AN ABUNDANCE OF SNOW TO THE CENTRAL PLAINS AND THE PRIMARY WHEAT BELT. THAT ADDITIONAL MOISTURE - WHILE FAR FROM ENOUGH TO BREAK A DROUGHT - PUSHED WHEAT PRICES DOWN IN THE PAST WEEK.

SPRING WEATHER:

WITH PLANTING SEASON NEARING, SPRING WEATHER SPRING WEATHER MAY MAKE OR BREAK THE 2013 CROP. BOB ELLISON TAKES A LOOK AT THE LONG RANGE FORECAST IN THIS REPORT FROM USDA.
