TODAY ON AGDAY

CROP PROGRESS:

AS OLD MAN WINTER DROPS IN, SOME FARMERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY STILL HAVE CROPS IN THE GROUND. AND THAT'S OUR TOP STORY ON AGDAY.

I80 NEBRASKA:

LAST WEEK IT WAS NEBRASKA FARMERS WANTING THE SNOW TO STAY AWAY.
IN SOME AREAS, THE SYSTEM DROPPED 5 INCHES. I VISITED WITH NEBRASKA FARMERS ZACH HUNNICUTT JUST BEFORE THE SNOW HIT the CORNHUSKER STATE. HE JUST SAW RAIN, BUT THAT WAS ENOUGH TO KEEP HIM OUT OF the FIELD FOR A FEW DAYS.

CROP WATCH:

MEANWHILE, THE MOISTURE SITUATION in the EASTERN CORNBELT CONTINUES TO IMPROVE. AND AN UNWELCOMED FALL SNOW THIS WEEK MAY HELP IMPROVE THINGS A LITTLE MORE. MIKE HOFFMAN HAS DETAILS IN CROPWATCH. GOOD MORNING, MIKE.

RUMORS HAVE BEEN SURFACING THAT THE EPA MAY ANNOUNCE ITS NEW RENEWABLE FUELS STANDARDS THIS WEEK.
