COLORADO FLOODING:

THE MASSIVE COLORADO FLOODING IS TAKING ITS TOLL ON COLORADO'S FARMERS AND RANCHERS. THAT'S OUR TOP STORY ON AGDAY

COLORADO DONATIONS:

IF YOU'D LIKE TO HELP THE STATE'S FARMERS AND RANCHERS FACING THE DEVESTATION, A SPECIAL FUND HAS BEEN SET UP FOR JUST THAT. COLRADO FARM BUREAU HAS STARTED A DISASTER FUND TO PROIVDE AID TO THOSE IMPACTED.

NUTRITION VOTE:

IT COULD BE TODAY THAT MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE TAKE A VOTE ON A STAND ALONE NUTRITION BILL. H-R 3102 OR THE NUTRIITON REFORM AND WORK OPPORTUNITY ACT IS SET TO CUT SOME 40 BILLION DOLLARS FROM THE SNAP PROGRAM.

LUCAS REACTS:

LAST WEEK HOUSE AG COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN FRANK LUCAS TOLD OUR PARTNERS AT AGRITALK THAT WHETHER IT PASSES OR FAILS A FARM BILL WILL MOVE FORWARD TO CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. HE THINKS IN THE END, LEADERSHIP FROM THE HOUSE, SENATE AND THE PRESIDENT WILL HAVE TO DECIDE ON WHAT MAKES IT INTO THE FINAL FARM BILL.
