GOOD MORNING I'M CLINTON GRIFFITHS. CONGRESS RETURNS TO WASHINGTON THIS WEEK. AND THERE'S NO SHORTAGE OF PRESSING ISSUES TO DISCUSS.

CALIFORNIA AG RECORD

THANKS TYNE, CALIFORNIA AGRICULTURE IS BIG BUSINESS. THE GOLDEN STATE JUST SET A NEW PRODUCTION RECORD. USDA DATA SHOWS FARMS AND RANCHES HAD REVENUES OF MORE THAN 44 AND HALF BILLION DOLLARS. CALIFORNIA REMAINS THE NATON'S LARGEST AG STATE, FOLLOWED BY IOWA AND NEBRASKA.

CROP WATCH:

FROM PEANUTS TO POTATOES, FARMERS ARE CLOSE TO HARVEST. MIKE HOFFMAN HAS DETAILS FROM THE AGDAY WEATHER CENTER.

POULTRY OUTLOOK:

RABOBANK JUST RELEASED A NEW GLOBAL REPORT FOR THE POULTRY INDUSTRY. THE BANK EXPECTS AN IMPROVING OUTLOOK FOR POULTRY PRODUCERS. THE BIGGEST REASON IS THE EXPECTED DROP IN GRAIN AND OILSEED PRICES--WHICH SHOULD RELIEVE SOME COST PRESSURE FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED.
