The following recipe is courtesy of Del Larson, submitted via email.
1/4 lb dried beef
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
3 cups milk
1. Melt butter in skillet.
2.Tear the dried beef into small pieces & stir into the butter.
3. Brown meat lightly.
4. Stir in flour.
5. When flour is dissolved into butter, add milk, stirring constantly.
6. Cook over low heat until the mixture thickens.
