NittanyCow Software Services announces the release of the NittanyCow Dairy Ration Evaluator version 1.4.0, which has been streamlined to run significantly faster on most operating systems. To receive a new update, visit
www.nittanycow.com and click on the "Updates" tab.
Please note that this update may take a few minutes longer than previous updates, as several files need to be updated to improve run time. It is recommended that you close all other programs before getting your free update.
In addition to faster operating speed, the company has added some new key features:
- Drag-and-drop ordering of feeds. NittanyCow now allows you to move feeds up and down a ration by clicking and holding on a feed name, then dragging it to the desired place on the feed list. Putting feeds in the desired order is now faster and easier than ever.
- Expanded Commercial Feeds list. Thanks to requests from many users, we have added dozens of Commercial Feeds to the NittanyCow database from many of the industry’s leading feed companies.
- Improved Mix Function. NittanyCow can now automatically calculate the price of a mix based on the cost of the individual mix components.
