AGCO’s investment in the Gleaner combine line has come to fruition with the Gleaner S7 Series Transverse Rotor Combines.
The new Series, models S77 and S67, are designed to help large-scale producers harvest a higher number of acres with improved capacity and efficiency, says Kevin Bien, combine product and marketing manager for the company. Yet the models weigh only 31,000 lb.
Bien says the company tested the combine during harvest for each of the past three years, including 2009.
“Last fall was the toughest harvest I’ve seen in probably 25 years and its performance was fantastic, even under very wet conditions,” he says.
