Hamburger Vegetable Casserole

1 lb. hamburger

1/2 cup rice

1 layer sliced onions (thin)

1 layer (thin) carrots, peeled and sliced

1 layer celery

1 layer cabbage

1 layer tomatoes

1 layer sliced green peppers

1 layer peeled and sliced potatoes



Put in layers in order given in a deep oblong casserole dish. Salt and pepper each layer and add sugar to tomato layer. Top with bacon slices. Bake in oven on 325 degrees for 1-3/4 hours.
