West Fargo, N.D.-based Crary Industries, Inc. will acquire Wayne’s Tile Pro of Morgan, Minn., the companies announced. Crary manufactures harvesting equipment such as air reels, hopper extensions and chaff spreaders, while Tile Pro manufactures agricultural tile plows, stringer trailers and additional tiling accessories.

Tile Pro manufacturing will remain in Minnesota, while its marketing and sales operations will be managed from North Dakota.

"Our current products have always been focused on productivity during the harvest," says Keith Nilson, Crary president. "This acquisition opens the door for us to assist today’s growers on other aspects of farming while continuing our focus on increasing farm productivity."

Laying perforated tile underground allows farmers to manage their soil water table for optimal yields and minimal fertilizer losses, among other benefits, Crary says.
