The Grand X, the latest addition to the M Series of midsized tractors from Kubota, comes in four models ranging from 85 to 118 PTO hp and replaces Kubota’s current X Series. The new machine

features an eight-speed dual-range powershift transmission for 24 gears in forward and reverse.

It also boasts a shorter turning radius and increased stability due to bi-speed turn and electrohydraulic differential locks. The Grand X meets Tier 4 Interim standards, with a combination of exhaust gas recirculation and diesel particulate filter muffler. Kubota has increased standard hitch capacity to 6,934 lb., with an optional 9,447 lb. for heavyweight applications. Operator comfort compliments the tractor’s power: 10" wider cab; more than 7" overhead room; deluxe cab with a field-of-view windshield and skylight; and tilt and telescopic steering wheel.
