The New Holland T9 series is designed with versatility and power demanded by the applications of a four-wheel-drive tractor.

  • Here’s the six-model lineup:
  • T9.390: 354 engine hp; 390 max hp
  • T9.450: 405 engine hp; 446 max hp
  • T9.505: 457 engine hp; 502 max hp
  • T9.560: 507 engine hp; 557 max hp
  • T9.615: 542 engine hp; 613 max hp
  • T9.670: 608 engine hp; 669 max hp

New Holland T9 tractors come in two chassis sizes—a 36” standard frame and the 44” wide frame. The four models ranging from 354 to 507 engine horsepower feature the standard frame, especially suited for row crop applications. The two largest models ranging from 542 to 608 engine horsepower use the wide frame.

NH t9 (2)All T9 Series tractors are powered by Tier 4 interim-ready Cursor engines produced by Fiat Powertrain Technologies. There are 9-liter engines in T9.390 models; and there are 13-liter engines in T9.450, T9.505, T9.560, T9.615 and T9.670. The 9-liter and 13-liter Cursor engines are outfitted with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems. The two largest models, the T9.615 and T9.670, are outfitted with engines that use a two-stage turbocharger. The first turbo feeds the second, delivering higher torque and higher sustained power.

All models feature New Holland Ground Speed Management, which electronically manages engine load and transmission speeds to match performance and fuel economy.

T9 Series tractors are available with a standard 42 gallon per minute (gpm) or high-flow 57-gpm hydraulic pump. Hydraulic flow may be increased by adding the optional 56-gpm MegaFlow pump for a total of up to 113 gpm.

The Comfort Ride cab suspension, is an optional feature so that all four corners of the cab are suspended on spring and damper units with an anti-sway system. T9 Series tractors feature the SideWinder II armrest console. The CommandGrip multi-function controller, located at the front of the armrest, provides fingertip access to the most frequently used controls. Additionally, the IntelliView III touch-screen display provides information at a glance and quick access and control of key functions.

Engine braking is another option, that uses the compression of exhaust gas to slow the T9 tractor down, saving wear on the brake pads.

Outside the cab, the tractor features up to 21 halogen work lights—eight that can be optional high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps. Ten lights are adjustable. Egress lighting is standard, so lights will stay on for up to 120 seconds after the key is switched off. And optional rotating beacon lights are available.
