More than 120 women from 25 different states attended Top Producer's Executive Women in Agriculture conference. The event, which took place Dec. 1-2 in Chicago, Ill., provided business skills for women of all ages involved in agriculture.

Three attendees share their thoughts on the event with Farm Journal Media's Pam Fretwell.

Kate Stenzel, an agronomist from southern Minnesota, explains she was happy to network with other women in the industry.

Joan French, a fourth-generation farmer from Peoria, Ill., said she knew attending the conference would provide her real benefit. “To have a meeting where the program addresses only women is a wonderful experience.”

Carrie Christenson of Waseca, Minn., says EWA highlighted women's passion for their industry, which was truly motivating.
