With a system called Potato Suite, the Grimme potato planter and John Deere tractor work together for in the field guidance. Using sensors on the hitch and Grimme machine, the Potato Suite can adjust the tractor steering, tractor speed, headland management and more. This data transfer is possible because of the ISOBUS standard.
