Expect More Acres for Both Corn and Wheat
Two major corn and soybean market reports are due from USDA Friday morning, but they're fighting with weather for attention.

Doug Werling of Bower Trading says markets are going up, expecting supply to go lower than anticipated. Early planting does not always produce higher yields -- weather is the key. USDA's anticipated numbers are causing speculators to become volatile.

Weather is really driving the markets without any outside help. Some concern USDA report will announce more planted acres and could be a bearish report.
Tom Grisafi of Indiana Grain Company says the market is very volatile and producers who want to take advantage of the higher prices should do it carefully. Market is trying to determine the size of crops. USDA report on Friday may be bearish.
Mike Howlett of Top Third Ag Marketing says overnight was calm after limit up in corn yesterday but prices are moving up again. Crop conditions dropped more than anticipated. Upcoming EU announcement, USDA report Friday.
