Most creatures don’t like sizzling hot, dry weather, but that’s not the case for spider mites. The pest is on the rise in soybean fields across the Midwest, and now is a good time to start scouting for them, says Bill Bauer, B&M Crop Consulting, Coldwater, Mich.
