Wet Soils Can Benefit From Tillage Prior To Planting Corn

If you’re wondering how to address wet fields that you still want to plant to corn, consider using a harrow-type tool to work the top 2 inches of the soil you want to plant into, advises Missy Bauer, Farm Journal associate field agronomist.

This strategy minimizes soil-structure issues while enabling you to provide a decent environment in which seed corn can get established.
