It’s a triple whammy that has slammed wheat prices in recent weeks, according to Oklahoma State University Extension grain marketing economist Kim Anderson. In a SUNUP TV report, Anderson says there are three reasons why wheat prices are in retreat: U.S. and global wheat stocks are relatively high, U.S. wheat acres are up 3% from a year ago and corn prices are moving lower.
