Farm Journal Pulse

Last week’s USDA reports rocked the markets. Is a new acreage battle brewing? Will farmers reassess their planting intentions?

Sign up to be part of the Farm Journal Pulse, a text message poll of farmers and ranchers, and share your plans. Participating is as easy as answering two quick poll questions per month via text message from your mobile phone.
By partnering with Commodity Update, the leading provider of agricultural information to mobile phones, Farm Journal sends you the question via a text message on the first and third Wednesday of each month.
This Wednesday's question will be: Based on USDA's reports will you change planting intentions?
On Thursday, you’ll receive a tabulation of responses and a link to an interactive U.S. map, where you can view national results. Results are anonymous and you quickly see the overall sentiment and how your opinion fits in. (Even if you don't sign up to participate, you can view what others replied by visiting on Thursday.)
See the results to the last Farm Journal Pulse: What’s your expectation for Ag economy in 2012 vs '11? More than 1,000 farmers and ranchers shared their opinion.
