Yeah, they're just like all those other companies that try to increase their stock prices so that our 401k's and retirements....I mean, those rich people get richer on the backs of the poor. Everyone knows only the ceo's of oil, pharmaceuticals, food, etc make money. Everyone else just does it for the good of the common man. The monsanto employees should join a union so that they can run them out of business like the auto workers did.

Yes, we all know, GM grains are bad, hormones and antibiotics are bad and responcible for the growing obesity problem in the US......or maybe its that we are getting lazier and lazier and would rather watch crap tv and play on the internet rather than interact with real people as we work side by side. The moral of the story is, lets worry about the bigger issues and not be blinded by our own side's propaganda (it goes both ways). People are not starving because there isn't enoug grain no matter if it is GMO or conventional.

I have some sympathy for the anti-gm folks. There are risks, but that's true of lots of things and anyway technology marches on. I have no idea if Monsanto and others do the safety studies they should or not. I suspect they will cut some corners and someday something bad will happen. Should we have more government regulation? Probably. Should we end genetic modification? I hope not. I use and like the products.
