I’ve written about Alabama dairy farmer Will Gilmer before. He takes a unique approach to connect with consumers and tries to help them understand life on a farm with unique songs, such as the YouTube hit "Water n Poo" that dealt with nutrient management.
Now, he’s developed a new program to edopt one of his cows. Will lets kids, classrooms, or other groups edopt a cow and he’ll send you a photo of her. You can then follow how much milk she produces each month and keep up to date on your edopted cow. Genius!
