Corn College Winter Semester
Thurs., February 11
Clarksville, Ind. (10 min. from National Farm Machinery Show)
With almost unparalleled urgency, Farm Journal Field Agronomist Ken Ferrie is fielding questions from farmers across the Corn Belt on how to respond to the challenges left over from 2009 and make 2010 a success.
Whether it is the task to outfitting your planter to handle conditions where tillage didn’t get done, to understanding how to manage nitrogen across your fields, there’s no blanket answer to tackle these challenges.
“Our 2009 crop leaves many corn growers with more challenges than normal for the next season,” explains Ken Ferrie Farm Journal Field Agronomist. “We’ve put together an agenda that will help tackle those challenges and get ready for 2010.”
The curriculum for the first-ever Corn College Winter Semester is designed to help you raise the best corn crop possible for 2010. Farm Journal Field Agronomists Ken Ferrie and Missy Bauer have assembled a one-day session packed with information to help you make the best agronomic moves following the 2009 growing season.
