So what your telling me is that anything with the slightest bit of danger to it should be avoided. Im sure we took more of a risk on the 3 hour drive to grandma and grandpas then he was in on the tractor. So in this case the sun gives you cancer so im sure you keep your kids sheltered at all times, oh yeah and dont dare let them take a bath or go swimming because over 3,308 children drowned last year alone. Also approximately 15 children die each year from playground injuries so that means if you let your kid play on the playground then you should have your head examined right according to the first anonymous blogger. If you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all because it makes you look stupid. IF you would pull your head out and see the picture for what it is and not what could happen, your life might just get alittle better.

I appreciate all your concern, but feel that my son is well taken care of and very safe with grandpa on the tractor. Accidents can happen anywhere at anytime on anything. Just to clarify, the rides they take are down the driveway and back and they go very slow - not once have I been worried about his safety.

Anon 6:17- Saying something nice has nothing to do with it, and there would be a whole lot more trials and tribulations if there was a terrible accident to deal with. The fact remains that the scene depicted is unsafe and anyone who can't or refuses to see that is nuts. My Dad and Son have spent alot of time together without ever having done anything as dumb as riding on an open tractor together.

Another nice picture of a little boy and his Grandpa, but can you imagine how Grandpa would feel if they hit a bump, the little boy slipped out of Grandpa's grasp and was run over by the rear wheel of the tractor ?? No matter how nice the picture, could it be anymore unsafe ?? Don't take the little ones for tractor rides, especially on open station tractors. That little one just might live long enough to learn how to drive it for himself someday. And Grandpa and Mom ought to have their heads examined. Shame on you AgWeb for encouraging this behavior by printing these puctures.
