KC Wheat under Pressure from Outside Markets

Kansas City wheat futures traded lower this morning under pressure mostly from outside market activity, according to traders.
The U.S. dollar was trading stronger today on concerns about the European debt and particularly the status of the Greek economy, traders said.
Rainfall over the weekend in hard red winter wheat areas also weighed on prices in Kansas City today.
While some places missed rainfall, several areas received decent amounts that helped a little going into the planting season, traders said.
