Ag Leader Opens Training Academy

Dec 21, 2009

Ag Leader Technology has hosted customer training sessions since 1996, but now the company will have its own state-of-the-art facility for those trainings.

The new 25,000 sq. ft. Ag Leader Academy is dedicated to providing specialized, hands-on training.  The building is located adjacent to Ag Leader headquarters in Ames, Iowa, and it features two classrooms, a computer lab for SMS software training, and a large space for static large equipment demonstrations.

I was at the grand opening earlier this month, and the dealers I talked to were very excited to have access to a facility dedicated to Ag Leader products and technologies.

Ag Leader dealers and customers can attend customized sessions and the company will host sessions for other industry personnel as well. The training at Ag Leader Academy will be in addition the company’s in-field training sessions.

Whether its cars, tractors, combines etc all of the fancy features are nice if you can afford them. Soon the industry will price themselves out of production, only the elite will be able to afford. The company that wakes up and starts building cars, tractors, etc without all of the high tech features that are affordable to most will prevail in the long run.
