I am really looking forward to not driving while in New York. Although we’ll be taking the subway most everywhere, I’m sure we’ll also have the opportunity to experience what it’s like to ride with a real live, genuine New York City cabbie. I have heard how it can get pretty darn noisy in Manhattan, especially during rush hour. (When is it ever not rush hour?) With everyone hurriedly going here and there, I’m sure that tempers get short and the horns will blare, but I’ll bet no one takes it personally. It’s just part of living in the big city.
