Hey, guess what?!... An article in today’s paper said the recession is over! ...This according to a bunch of really smart people with fancy degrees in economics and other subjects that are entirely beyond my comprehension. I don’t know about you but I am sure glad it’s over. It was starting to get old. Oh, the first few days were tolerable I suppose, but like a houseguest that won’t leave the recession was hanging around way too long. The economic change will do me good because quite honestly I really need to replace the coins I “borrowed” from my kid’s piggy bank before he notices they’re missing.
