Volume in metric tons
Significant changes from the last report. Last month total grains was estimated in 149.416,9 metric tons.
Highest increases in Rice, cotton and soybeans.
Increases are explained by the changes in climate. Was expecting droughts in many regions. Actually only in extreme south is registered serious dry weather, meanwhile in the all other regions climate was very benefic.
Only point about climate is the delay in the beginning of rains, causing delay in the seeding and, now, in the harvest. MT is about 20% harvest and last year was 32% by this period. N/NE regions also delaying harvesting, in about 10 days, due to moisture excess.
