1958 International 350 Utility

Nov 01, 2012

This tractor was featured for the month of November in the Classic Farm Tractor Calendar.

The mirror-like refelction of this handsom IH results from a mural on the factory wall in Rock Island, Ill., where millions of red tractors were manufactured in the 20th century. This famous Farmall Plant was demolished soon after this picture and others were taken in December 2007. Nebraska test No. 615 showed the gas International 350 has maximum belt hp of 43, and the LP version 46 hp—from its 4 cyl. engine with bore and stroke of 3.375 x 4.25 for 175 cu. in. These attractive two-tone models catch the eye of a serious collector.

Owners: Rollie and Fran Moore
Oneida, Illinois
His father bought a new IH 350 when Rollie was 9, a twin to this one. Rollie and Fran have several I-350 tractors, a rare I-330, a smaller sibling. Later, the 350 had the basic Farmall H engine, half the horses. All are kept on the family farm they operate in western Illinois.
