Farmall 1206 Diesel
Sep 04, 2012
This is the cover tractor and featured for the month of January in the official 2013 Farmall Calendar.
The Farmall 1206 is one of the most sought-after 1960s International Harvester tractors, and one of the most valuable models in the entire line. This 1967 model was restored from the frame up when purchased, as the previous owner had never kept the machine inside a shed or garage. The tractor is gorgeously finished, but it’s no trailer queen. The 1206 is used to set tobacco at Wileman Farms in Edgerton, Wis. Incidentally, Wisconsin was one of America’s largest producers of tobacco in 1885. Today, a few farmers in southern Wisconsin still produce tobacco. The backbreaking work of producing the crop is eased a bit with help from this 1206.
