You always hear during harvest time to be careful. And you should. It can be a dangerous situation. This year is no exception, particularly with very dry conditions and the potential for combine fires that could turn into massive field fires, as is happening in Indiana today.
WTHR, the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis, is reporting the town of Williamsport, Ind., has been evacuated due to a massive field fire. The station's helicopter pilot estimates this fire to cover 600-1,000 acres. Fires are also reported in Shelby County and Johnson County.
