My 1st thought was "how cute" but the immediate thought behind that one was "how dangerous". And, it can happen. IN Farm Bureau pushes their Safety4Kids at the beginning of every crop year.
Anon 6:17- Saying something nice has nothing to do with it, and there would be a whole lot more trials and tribulations if there was a terrible accident to deal with. The fact remains that the scene depicted is unsafe and anyone who can't or refuses to see that is nuts. My Dad and Son have spent alot of time together without ever having done anything as dumb as riding on an open tractor together.
I appreciate all your concern, but feel that my son is well taken care of and very safe with grandpa on the tractor. Accidents can happen anywhere at anytime on anything. Just to clarify, the rides they take are down the driveway and back and they go very slow - not once have I been worried about his safety.
