Today’s consumer is generations away from the farm and far too often, generations away from understanding today’s agriculture industry. The Consumer Ag Connection radio program provides them with the opportunity to hear from the sources themselves, including growers, producers and agricultural experts. Created and hosted by award-winning farm broadcaster Pam Fretwell, the show provides a unique forum where consumers can have their questions answered by experts, as well as those directly involved with agriculture, and give the industry insight on consumer concerns.   

Consumer Ag Connection is distributed to more than 85 radio stations in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Alabama. All episodes are available online at www.agweb.com. The three-minute report heard each weekday discusses various issues surrounding agriculture, including food production and distribution, hunger and biofuels. The show is supported by an extensive and ongoing promotional campaign across the entire Farm Journal Media platform.
