Cool Happenings at Commodity Classic

Farmers are heading to Florida this week, and not only to enjoy the sunshine. The 2011 Commodity Classic is March 3 - 5 in Tampa, Fla. This event is attended by attended by over 4,300 large-acreage growers.
The three-day conference includes national meetings of the American Soybean Association, National Association of Wheat Growers, National Corn Growers Association and the National Sorghum Producers, and features a large trade show of exhibits and free educational sessions for producers.

  • U.S. Farm Report will tape a live market roundtable on Friday at 7 a.m. in the Marriot Florida Ballroom, sponsored by United Soybean Board/ Soybean Checkoff, John Deere and Monsanto.  Join  co-hosts John Phipps, Farm Journal and Top Producer Magazine columnist, and Ag Day anchor Clinton Griffiths as they visit with roundtable panelists; Richard Brock of Brock Associates; Mark Gold of Top Third Ag Marketing; Scott Stewart of Stewart-Peterson and Pro Farmer’s Chip Flory will serve as the roundtable moderator.
